Changchun is currently on a two-game unbeaten streak which allowed the team to climb out of the cellar of the 16-team China top flight table.

However, they are still in the bottom two relegation area, tied on points with current bottom-dwellers Shijiazhuang Ever Bright but with a superior goal difference, and head coach Lee Jang-soo's side will try to continue their unbeaten run to further go out of the demotion zone.

Yatai was able to hold struggling powerhouse Shandong Luneng Taishan to a 1-1 draw last Saturday on the road at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium as they avoided defeat for the second consecutive fixture, as per Soccerway.

The hosts broke the game's deadlock at the 13th minute with a goal from midfielder Walter Montillo off an assist by midfielder Liu Binbin.

Changchun was able to level the count at the 50th minute, though, as Croatian attacking midfielder Mislav Orsic directed fellow import Bruno Meneghel's assist to the net of Shandong goalkeeper Wang Dalei.

Meanwhile, Guangzhou R&F also settled to a 1-1 tie with third-running squad Shanghai Greenland Shenhua at the Yuexiushan Stadium last Sunday also for their second straight unbeaten performance, via Sofa Score.

The Blue Lions opened the scoring at the seventh minute with a goal from Brazilian winger Renatinho, but Shenhua managed to equalize at the 49th with a strike from Colombian midfielder Giovanni Moreno.
