Rumors have emerged that Italian Serie A squad Inter Milan could sell Jonathan Biabiany to Chinese Super League team Jiangsu Suning FC in January as the French winger is said to be unwanted by the Italian club.

Football Italia reported that the 28-year-old Paris native is "not part of (head coach) Frank de Boer's plans" in Milan and so a transfer to Jiangsu Suning when the winter transfer window opens is in the horizon.

Biabiany appeared in only 20 of the Italian team's games last season under manager Roberto Mancini. However, this season he has played even less so far - only 58 minutes in the Europa League. He has not featured in any domestic first division match.

Due to lack of first-team time under de Boer, Biabiany is reportedly considering an exit from the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza and "a move to China appears the most likely option."

Inter was taken over by Chinese conglomerate Suning Commerce Group this summer for £212 million. Suning the same company that owns the CSL's Jiangsu Suning.

Biabiany is expected to receive a significant salary increase if he accepts the deal with Suning.

Jiangsu broke the Chinese transfer record twice in the last winter window after signing Brazilian midfielder Ramires from English Premier League side Chelsea for £25 million in January before a £42 million acquisition of Alex Teixeira from Ukrainian team Shakhtar Donetsk in February.

The record was again broken by Shanghai SIPG in June when they signed Brazilian winger Hulk from Russian Premier League club Zenit Saint Petersburg for £48 million.

If the move to Jiangsu Suning will not push through, then Biabiany may opt to join another Serie A squad, Bologna FC. Bologna had submitted a bid to Inter for Biabiany this summer, but it was turned down by the San Siro team.
