60-year old actress and singer Pia Zadora was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital after suffering from a head injury falling a fall from a golf cart last Thursday.

The Golden Globe winner was said to have been thrown off from the golf cart after the vehicle took a sharp turn and tipped. The narrative was relayed to the public by her former manager and long-time friend, Brian Panella.

The actress is currently in the intensive care unit and has a head trauma, a fractured ankle and some facial bruising.

Despite her injuries, the performer is expected to make a full recovery but will need to stay in the hospital for a few more days so that physicians can observe her and make sure there are no other unforeseen damages.

"The prognosis is excellent. She will be a little bit uncomfortable for a couple of days, but she is going to be fine. But she did hit her head quite hard," Panella share.

The fall had caused her brain to bleed, so Zadora has been in and out of consciousness. However, the performer is getting better with each passing day.

Zadora first became a household name when she appeared in the original production of "Fiddler on the Roof" on Broadway. At that time, Zadora was only a young girl of 10. She played the Bielke, the youngest sister in the said production from 1964 to 1966.

The vivacious 60-year old is still active in entertainment. Last summer, the performer worked on "Pia Reloaded," a musical production that chronicled her exciting life and career.

She was once quoted as saying, I'm one Pia Zadora, the same way all the time. That's why I'm happy. It took me a long time to get to the point where could be myself all the time."
