The Los Angeles Lakers could send a trade package centered on Brandon Ingram to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for either Devin Booker or Eric Bledsoe, recent NBA trade rumors suggested.

Ingram, who just turned 19 last month, is the Lakers' second overall pick in this year's NBA draft and there are rumors that the rookie could be traded even before he plays his first regular season game with the team.

While Ingram is not short in talent and potential, it is speculated that the Hollywood squad sees him as too lanky for the NBA at the moment and would be ready to deal him to another squad for the right offer.

The Lakers are also looking for depth in the backcourt after Kobe Bryant retired at the end of last season. Booker, also 19, was the 13th overall selection of last year's draft and is seen as one of the best up-and-coming shooting guards in the league right now.

With that premise, rumors are out that the Lakers and Suns are negotiating a one-on-one trade that would send Booker to Los Angeles in exchange for Ingram, according to the Inquisitr. Both players are still in their rookie contracts, which means pulling off the trade will not be difficult.

Some analysts believe, though, that Phoenix may demand more in return for Booker as the team is reportedly preparing him to be the future face of the franchise.

The Suns are shallow at the small forward spot while they are heavy in the backcourt with last year's starters Bledsoe and Brandon Knight still with the squad and so getting Ingram will give their bench a huge boost.

Meanwhile, Sportsrageous indicated that the Lakers may actually target Bledsoe instead of Booker in exchange for Ingram and mercurial forward Nick Young.

This scenario is said to be the more realistic one as Phoenix will get to keep Booker while adding Ingram to their roster.

Young is just a bonus piece who could thrive with the Suns because of the change in environment, and so Phoenix is set to benefit more from the deal.
