Anthony "Rumble" Johnson, the rising light heavyweight fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), has recently stated that he is open to fighting Dutch heavyweight, Alistair Overeem.

Johnson, who is one weight class below Overeem and roughly 40 pounds lighter, says that he wouldn't mind fighting him anywhere.

"If he wanted to meet me at 225, let's do it. Or whatever, 220, I'd do that. Or I'd meet at 230 at the dot, if he was down to go that far," he said. Johnson had previously been at welterweight and has gained 50 pounds to get to light heavyweight.

The two fighters were teammates at the Blackzilian camp. However, their "teammate" status did not come with the need to like each other. Johnson cited the fact that Overeem was a bully when it came to training and sparring.

Overeem has since left and gone over to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to train in famed gym, Greg Jackson Mixed Martial Arts. After only a few months though, he had injured light heavyweight champion Jon Jones just a month before a fight.

These past weeks have seen harsh words traded like punches in the octagon, with Johnson calling Overeem the "biggest pussy in the heavyweight division."

While there is no love lost between the two fighters, Johnson still respects Overeem's abilities.

Even after Overeem's recent loss to Ben Rothwell - his third in four fights - Johnson still understands that he is dangerous.

He says that Overeem still has weapons, like knees and the new oblique kick he learned from Jackson's.

He also understands the fact that the Dutch kickboxer is still a huge draw in the UFC and will likely remain there despite his string of losses.

Nevertheless, if the fans want to see the fight, Johnson is up to test Overeem's skills at any weight class.
