Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann recently admitted that a transfer to the English Premier League is possible if he decides to exit La Liga in the future and that Manchester United and Chelsea are two of his potential destinations.

Griezmann, 25, is considered as one of the best forwards in world football right now. He has scored 32 goals in 54 competitions last season as one of the top goalscorers in the Spanish top-flight and has netted six goals in 12 games for Atleti so far this term.

The Red Devils and Blues have been rumored to be interested in acquiring his services since the beginning of last summer's transfer window, but no move was able to transpire as Atleti head coach Diego Simeone is keen on keeping the France international moving forward.

Metro indicated that United head coach Jose Mourinho will target Griezmann in the next summer transfer window as the Manchester outfit is rumored to be preparing for the eventual retirement of team captain Wayne Rooney.

Aside from the said English clubs, Griezmann is also being linked to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and La Liga giants Real Madrid, but he confessed that a move to the Premier League is more likely than going to his home country's first division league or their cross-city rivals, as per Caught Offside.

"I am in Madrid, we have a good team, I want to win titles," Griezmann said. "PSG is an interesting project but I don't want to move to Ligue 1 now. I prefer to stay in La Liga or the Premier League. If I had to leave La Liga today, it will be for England."

"No transfer between Real and Atletico, there is a pact," he added.

He then later clarified that his first priority is staying with Los Colchoneros despite rumors that he is set to leave the Spanish capital at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is also confident that Griezmann will stay at their side for the foreseeable future.

"I don't believe there is any possibility of Griezmann going to Madrid, or to any other team," said Cerezo.
