For users who want to stream Google 4K movies on their TVs, the company said that 4K contents are currently supported only by select products, including the Chromecast Ultra, Xiaomi Mi Box 3, and the Sony Bravia Android TV, according to The Verge.

Google's 4K movies will be limited for consumers in the United States and Canada only, although some tech experts said that it will not be long until the company releases the feature into other markets. According to Digital Trends, the list of 4K titles currently available includes "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," "The Fifth Element," "The Amazing Spider-Man," "10 Cloverfield Lane," "Mission: Impossible - Rouge Nation," "Everest," and "Lucy."

As part of its effort to promote not only its 4K movies but also its hardware, Google said that users will get to pick a free 4K movie of their choice when they buy a Chromecast Ultra. The list of free movies includes recently released titles like "Captain Philips" and "Ghostbusters." This promotion runs for a limited time only.
