The Orlando Magic is reportedly planning to reunite Indiana Pacers forward Paul George with his former coach Frank Vogel as the club will target him in the upcoming trade season.

Reports are out that Orlando is looking for a go-to scorer to upgrade their offense, which is one of the worst in the league so far this season. The Magic is presently ranked 29th of 30 teams when it comes to points per game and offensive rating and is at the bottom of the list in terms of points per possession.

The team has been losing a lot of games if they cannot contain their opponents on defense. Right now, Orlando has lost three straight games and is 11th in the East with a 10-15 record.

With their current struggles, it has been reported that the Magic will be busy looking for their ideal scorer when the NBA's restriction to trade newly-signed free agents is lifted on Thursday, Dec. 15.

HNGN reported that one of the Magic's top targets is George as they are also said to be eyeing a reunion between the three-time NBA All-Star and his former Pacers coach Vogel, who is currently at the helm in Orlando.

George has been mentioned in trade rumors a couple of times this season as there are speculations that Indiana could go on a rebuild soon. The Pacers are having an average season so far, seventh in the East with a record slight above .500, 13-12, five-and-a-half games behind top team Cleveland Cavaliers.

There are rumors that team president Larry Bird wants the Pacers to go back into championship contention and, at the moment, George is their most valuable trade asset if they want to improve their lineup.

Orlando is reportedly willing to bid a package composed of multiple players to get George from Indiana. ESPN indicated that the Magic is open to deal Nikola Vucevic, Jeff Green, Serge Ibaka, and Elfrid Payton, although it is not yet clear if they would be the exact package to be offered for George.
