An upcoming new model of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air computer is soon to be available in the market. This latest model of the notebook laptop is scheduled to be revealed in an event in Beijing, China, on Friday (Dec. 23) this year.

Recently, an invitation picture showing the right side of the new model computer has been spotted online. The computer resembles the look of the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air; however, this one seems to have a 4G module since there is a 4G network signal in the lower right corner of the screen. Apart from this, no other information was revealed.

Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air computer is now available across the globe. The Mi Notebook is currently priced at 3,499 Yuan ($525) for the 12.5-inch model and 4,999 Yuan ($750) for the 13-inch model.

The Mi Notebook Air with a 13.3-inch display model features a full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution, with a 5.59mm-thick bezel. The computer is powered by a sixth generation Intel Core i5 processor, Nvidia GeForce 940MX GPU, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 1GB of GDDR5 VRAM, and a 256GB PCIe SSD. Xiaomi is claiming that the laptop can last up to 9.5 hour battery life and it charges 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

The Mi Notebook Air runs on Windows 10 Home operating system. The laptop has a body dimension of 309.6 x 210.9 x 148.8mm and weighs 1.35kg.

As for the 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air model, the computer bears a full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) display screen. It is powered by an Intel Core M3 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM. It comes equipped with a 128GB SATA SSD, alongside with a second SSD slot. The computer is said to have an 11.5-hour battery life.
