Acer recently unveiled a massive gaming laptop at the Consumer Electronics Show. Dubbed simply as the Predator 21 X, the massive laptop with an impressive set of specs carries a hefty price of $8,999.

The Acer Predator 21 X has a 21-inch display with a curved screen, something that Acer claimed as the first in the world. The display features a 21:9 aspect ratio, 120GHz refresh rate, 2560 x 1080 resolution, and support for Nvidia's G-Sync technology.

According to Polygon, powering the Predator 21 X is a seventh-generation Intel Core i7 7820HK processor. It has 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory and supports up to four 512GB solid state drives.

Handling the graphics are two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs in SLI configuration. With all these impressive set of hardware packed into a relatively small form factor roughly the size of two books piled together, it is no wonder why the Predator 21 X weighs 19.4 pounds.

Keeping the Predator 21 X cool are five fans and nine heat pipes. Acer has installed what the company called Dust Defender in order to prevent too much dust from entering the internals of the laptop.

The Predator 21 X features a full-sized customizable keyboard with Cherry MX Brown switches, programmable backlit keys, and a keypad that can be flipped over and used as a touchpad. The laptop has four speakers and two subwoofers to provide what Acer describes as "Hi-Fi quality sound."

Acer is also giving buyers an option to customize the design of their Predator 21 X. Acer will also allow buyers to add their own design, flag, and even have their name laser engraved on the laptop, according to BetaNews.

The Predator 21 X will hit the market in January. It is slated to be released in Africa, Europe, Middle East, and North America.
