Alcatel Officially launches Alcatel A3 XL Phablet at CES 2017

Alcatel officially launched its latest device - the Alcatel A3 XL tablet - at the International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2017. The device features a massive 6-inch display screen, faster processing power, and enhanced mobile security.

The Alcatel A3 XL phablet is the company's first new premium range affordable mobile device in the "A" flagships. According to Alcatel, this the latest additional mobile device in the series that offers affordability, functionality, and fun to the user. 

As for the specification, the Alcatel A3 XL phablet features a gigantic 6-inch HD IPS FL LCD display screen with a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280p and 245 pixel-per-inch pixel densities. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT8735B processor clocked at a speed of 1.1GHz. It comes equipped with 1GB of RAM and Mali-T720MP2 GPU.

The Alcatel A3 XL has an 8GB native internal storage, which can be further expanded to up to 32GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. It runs on latest Android v7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box. Powering inside the tablet is a non-removable Li-Ion 3,000mAh capacity battery.

On the photography side, the A3 XL sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing shooter with autofocus and LED flash support. On the front is a 5-megpaixel sensor capable of video recording of up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.

In terms of connectivity options, the Alcatel A3 XL offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, 2G, 3G, and 4G network connectivity with LTE Cat4 support. The device measures a body dimension of 165 x 82.5 x 7.9 mm.

Meanwhile, Alcatel plans to roll out the Alcatel A3 XL worldwide including Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Latin America by the first quarter of 2017.
