Dakota Johnson revealed that she went completely nude for her sex scenes in the upcoming sequel, "Fifty Shades Darker."

In an interview for the February issue of Vogue, which features her on the cover, she talked about the much-awaited "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel, saying she thinks that nudity is "interesting for an actor."

Truly, Johnson has definitely stepped up her game since starring in the erotic and risqué book-to-film franchise by E.L. James. It is nothing that the actress has done before and she's nothing but proud to be part of the widely-talked about adult film saga. For this reason, she had no qualms about stripping down, especially if it is going to make the movie look more authentic.

Speaking about her leading man, Jamie Dornan, she said she has worked with him "so incredibly closely for so long" that they are no longer any inhibitions between them. "It was very honest, very trusting."

"But I mean, what a gamble! What if he had turned out to be a total dick? There's no makeup. There are no clothes to tell you a bit about the story. There's no jewelry to give you a clue about social status. So it becomes purely about the performance," Johnson added.

Johnson then revealed that she's not sure if she will stop doing nude scenes when she gets older and her breasts starts to sag, but she definitely doesn't want to be an actress who wears underwear during a sex scene.

"Let's be honest about it. People are naked when they f**k." She adds, "America is still so sexually oppressed. Isn't God's gift to humans the orgasm?"

Finally, she said for the record that she is a real fan of the novels and of her co-star, despite multiple tabloids' claims to the contrary.

 "I'm truly proud of it. It's a cool story, and I think it's different, and different is what I'm about," Johnson assured.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is set to be released around Valentine's Day 2017.
