Asus plans to unveil its newest budget smartphone, the Zenfone 3 Go, at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona, Spain.

A leaked image of the device recently surfaced on Italian site Notebook Italia, suggesting that the smartphone will come with relatively decent specs and would be budget friendly. Based on the image, the device will feature a similar metal build to the Asus Zenfone 3 but it will be a little more simplistic. The camera module was moved to the upper left-hand corner of the phone’s back and the basic Asus logo is placed in the middle.

Asus Zenfone 3 Go will come with Beautification with Facebook and YouTube. It will also have dual MEMS Mics for clearer chats and less noise as well as five-magnet speaker that features smart amp. The device will provide capacitive buttons and comes in three colors – black, pink, and gold. 

The device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Under the hood, it runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow based ZenUI operating system. In terms of memory, the smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.

The Zenfone 3 Go will feature a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 screen resolution. For the optics, its offers 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, auto focus and LED flash and its 5MP from camera comes with soft LED flash for better low-light selfies. The handset will use 2,600mAh removable battery.

In terms of pricing, there are no details yet, but it is reported to have a price tag of around $160, making it budget friendly.
