The prospects are looking bright for Chinese migrant workers as more benefits are being offered to them by companies who are in need of good labor.

For instance, a recruitment poster for migrant workers in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, reads like an apartment rental ad, according to China Daily.

"Spacious rooms with air conditioner, Wi-Fi and hot shower 24 hours a day," the poster says.

Aside from these perks, firms are also offering their prospective workers free meals, apartments for couples, free schooling for children, and of course, a competitive salary and health care benefits.

It is no longer surprising to see Chinese companies offer such incentives to migrant workers. This has now become a standard practice among them to bring in new talent.

"Many large private enterprises are now behaving like State-owned enterprises in the 1950s and '60s", noted Gan Mantang, a sociology professor at the Fuzhou University in Fujian province.

"They're offering good, free accommodation and help with their children's education, as well as providing some recreational activities," he continued.

He explained that if companies did not resort to such strategies, "it'll be difficult to recruit anyone in today's ultracompetitive labor market."

Things have dramatically turned around for Chinese migrant workers, as they used to be housed in cramp, unhygienic quarters while having to endure long periods of being separated from their families.

In the meantime, location-based heat map data from the Chinese tech company Qihoo 360 revealed that around 900 million users recorded the largest human labor movement during the week-long Chinese Lunar New Year Festival early this month, according to ECNS.

Among the East China provinces, Jiangxi sent the largest number of migrant workers across the country during the period, accounting for 7.25 percent of the province's total population of 45.66 million, data showed.

In second place was the Central Chinese province of Hunan, wherein 7.16 percent of its population worked as migrant workers, followed by Henan (6.3 percent), Anhui (6.27 percent), and Shandong (6.05 percent) provinces.
