Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has confirmed that its latest device dubbed as the Gionee A1 will soon be available in Indian market. This information was confirmed after the company posted a teaser of the Gionee A1 on its official website in the country.

The Gionee A1 was first introduced at the Mobile World Congress 2017 last month in Barcelona, Spain along with its elder sibling called Gionee A1 Plus. Rumors suggest that there is a big chance that the company might also launch the Gionee A1 Plus smartphone in India.

In terms of the specifications, the Gionee A1 smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display screen with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6755 Helio P10 processor, along with a massive 4GB RAM onboard. It comes equipped with a built-in 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

On the photography department, the Gionee A1 smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear facing camera with autofocus, 5P lens, F2.0, 1/3.06 inches, and flash support.  On the front is 16-megapixel sensor with fixed focus, 5P lens, F2.0, 1/3.06 inches, and selfie flash support.

The Gionee A1 smartphone runs on the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Gionee's latest customized user interface. The phone is fueled by a huge 4,010 mAh battery. The battery size of the phone is the main highlight on this device.

Other features the Gionee A1 smartphone offers include 4G LTE network support, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, and micro USB. The handset measures body dimensions of 154.5 mm x 76.5 mm x 8.5 mm and weighs around 182 grams.
