Vivo Y66 Smartphone to be Launched in India on March 17
Vivo's latest device dubbed as the Vivo Y66 smartphone is expected to be launched in India on March 17. This information comes after the device was recently spotted on an Indian reseller website.
The Vivo Y66 smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD display screen with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels and 2.5D curved glass display. The screen panel is protected by the third generation Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 processor clocked at a speed of 1.5 GHz.

The Vivo Y66 smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM onboard and a built-in 32GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is wrapped under with the Funtouch OS 3.0 customized user interface.
The Vivo Y66 sports a 13-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash support and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats. The phone is backed up by a non-removable Li-Polymer 3000 mAh capacity battery with Quick Charge 2.0 technology support.
Other features the device offers include Dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.1, a microUSB port, 4G VoLTE, Wifi (802.11 b/g/n), GPS, and Wi-Fi hotspot. Sensors on the phone include Gyro sensor, Accelerometer, and Geomagnetic sensor. The device measures body dimensions of 153.8 mm x 75.5 mm x 7.6 mm and weighs 155 grams.
The Vivo Y66 smartphone has been listed on an Indian online retailing platform in Crown Gold and Rose Gold color for the price of Rs 14,980 ($227.87).
