Black Edition Vivo Xplay 6 Smartphone to be Released Next Week
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has announced that the Black edition Vivo Xplay 6 will be available on the market starting next week. The Vivo Xplay 6 only comes in Gold and Rose Gold color.
The Vivo Xplay 6 smartphone features a 5.46-inch 2K Super AMOLED display screen with 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels resolution and Dual-Curved Gorilla Glass display panel. Under the hood, the device is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at a speed of 2.2 Ghz, which is paired with a massive 6GB of RAM onboard. It comes equipped with a built-in 128GB of UFS 2.0 internal memory storage.

On the photography department, the Black edition Vivo Xplay 6 smartphone sports dual rear cameras, one with a 12-megapixels Sony IMX362 camera, and one with 5-megapixels secondary rear sensor. The camera also supports phase detection autofocus, and dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, and OIS. On the front is a 16-megapixels sensor with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats.
The Vivo Xplay 6 runs on the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with the customized Funtouch OS 3.0 user interface laid on top of it. Fueling the phone is a 4080 mAh capacity battery. Other features the Xplay 6 offers include a fingerprint scanner embedded inside the home button, Dual SIM (Dual Standby), ES9038 + 3xOPA1622 audio chip, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, and 4G LTE network support.
The Black edition Vivo Xplay 6 smartphone is expected to cost the same as the previous models which was priced at CNY 4,498 ($651).
