Chinese smartphone manufacturer Coolpad has announced that its latest - the Coolpad Note 5 Lite smartphone - is now available for purchased in India market starting today. The Note 5 Lite smartphone is currently priced in the country at Rs. 8,199 or roughly equivalent to $125.41.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite features a 5-inch HD IPS display screen with 720 pixels by 1280 pixels resolution, 2.5D curved glass with a pixel density of 294 ppi, and a 70.6 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP processor clocked at a sped of 1GHz. It is equipped with 3GB of RAM onboard and a Mali 720 GPU.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, coupled with Coolpad's latest Cool UI 8.0 user interface.

The phone has a16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 64GB via a dedicated via microSD card. On the camera department, the phone flaunts a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor with LED flash support.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite is powered by a 2500 mAh capacity battery that rated to deliver up to 200 hours of standby time. Other features the device offers include 4G VoLTE, USB OTG support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v4.0, and Micro-USB. Sensors on phone are accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and fingerprint sensor. It measures body dimension of 145.3 mm x 72.3 mm x8.7 mm and weighs around 148 grams.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite smartphone can be purchased via Amazon India. It will be available in Gold and Grey colour variants.
