Chinese smartphone maker Oukitel officially announced its latest device dubbed as the Oukitel U16 Max in China. The new device is now available at Aliexpress for a promotional launching price of $109.99 (full price $148.64), and will go on sale globally starting March 28.

The Oukitel U16 Max smartphone features a 6.0-inch HD LTPS display screen with 1280 pixels by 720 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved panel. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6753 Cortex A53 processor clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz, which is coupled with Mali-T720 GPU for the graphics.

The Oukitel U16 Max comes with 3GB of RAM onboard and is equipped with a built-in 32GB on internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

On the photography side, the phone sports a 13.0-megapixels rear-facing camera with LED flash support and a 5.0-megapixel front sensor for selfies. The phone runs on the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box, which is paired with Oukitel's latest customized user interface laid on top.

The Oukitel U16 Max is fueled by a 4000 mAh capacity battery with 5V/1.5A quick charging technology support. Other features the device offers include GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz, WCDMA: 900/2100MHz, and 4G: b1/3/7/8/21 networks support, dual SIM (1 micro SIM + 1 Nano SIM), Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS/AGPS/GLONASS. Sensors on the phone are gravity, proximity sensor, light sensor, and fingerprint sensor.

It measures body dimension of 165.5 mm x 83.3 mm x 9.15 mm and weighs around 222 grams. The Oukitel U16 Max smartphone is availbale in Space Grey and Champagne Gold colour options.
