Upgraded Xiaomi Redmi 4X Smartphone Launched in China; Features 4GB RAM and 64GB Inbuilt Storage
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has officially launched its latest upgraded Xiaomi Redmi 4X smartphone in China. The enhanced version of the Xiaomi Redmi 4X features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory storage.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4X smartphone was initially launched in China with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage priced at 699 Yuan (approximately $101.26) and 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage version at 899 Yuan (approximately $130.23). The new variant which comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage is currently priced at 1,099 ($159.20) and would go on sale starting May 9.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4X features a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display screen with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor along with the Adreno 505 GPU for graphics. As mentioned earlier, it comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the Xiaomi Redmi 4X smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with 5P lens, PDAF, LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, and a 5-megapixel front sensor with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. It runs on the Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system coupled with the MIUI 8 user interface. The phone is backed up by a 4100mAh battery.
Other features the Xiaomi Redmi 4X smartphone offers include a fingerprint scanner, Hybrid Dual SIM, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE, GPS, and a microUSB port. The handset measures a body dimension 139.24 mm × 69.94 mm × 8.65 mm and weighs around 150 grams.
The new Xiaomi Redmi 4X smartphone will be available in Champagne Gold, Cherry Pink, and Matte Black color.
