Following the rumors that Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung has moved on from her previous marriage and is dating a Singaporean restaurateur, another rumor which claims that the actress is pregnant has been circulating on the web recently.

After being embroiled in a lot of rumors since her former husband, Nicholas Tse, got together again with Faye Wong, rumors that Cheung is pregnant has been going around again.

According to Hong Kong media, the rumor started from a Weibo post authored by an anonymous netizen who claims that the actress was spotted visiting a hospital after suffering from dizziness and nausea. The netizen then claimed that Cheung has been unexpectedly informed that she was expecting a child.

Furthermore, the post says that the actress, who is a mother to two sons, Lucas and Quintus, is preparing for her pregnancy and is planning to head to France for it. The post also claims that her rumored boyfriend, the Singaporean restaurateur named Martin, is taking some time off work in order to accompany the actress at a French hospital where she is said to be staying for her condition.

Despite being embroiled in many rumors, the pregnancy rumor is said to be the last straw for the actress.

Her managing company, AEG, quickly responded to the rumor, refuting the claims of the anonymous netizen who posted about it on Weibo. According to the company's official statement, the allegations against the actress are false and uncalled for.

According to the company, said rumors have given a negative impact on the actress' career, reputation and personal life. Because of this, AEG threatened to take legal action against whoever was spreading the rumors.

The company also stated that they have requested that the post be taken down from Weibo in order to put a stop to the rumors.
