This movie was first released for the Cannes Film Festival in France and Bennet Miller who is its director has snagged the Best Director Award. Critics have given great reviews for this movie especially on how it was well directed and how the actors executed their respective roles.

Steve Carell was almost unrecognizable in this film because he was made to look old as he plays this multimillionaire named John Eleuthere du Pont who is sick with schizophrenia.

The movie is actually based in a real life story of wrestler Mark Schultz (played by Channing Tatum) whose brother Dave Schultz (played by Mark Ruffalo) was murdered by du Pont.

After its release in Cannes, critics have already predicted that it could be movie of the year based from its overall quality. Tatum said that it has been a real challenge for him to play hi character.

It could be due to the fact that he plays a wrestler and there is a lot of really challenging things going on in being an athlete. On the other hand, Carell's performance in this film is definitely one of those performances that will be so hard to forget.

Watch Foxcatcher when it finally opens on November 14, 2014.
