The Airbus 330-300 airplane bound for Barcelona left Beijing at 02:10 and arrived in Vienna at 06:10 local time, and then it reached Barcelona at 09:25 local time.

The return route will depart from Barcelona at 11:25 local time and land in Vienna at 13:25 local time, before commencing the route to Beijing at 05:55.

Onboard the Airbus 330-300 aircraft, passengers will be treated with various services, including the full-flat seats at the Business Class, and 120% larger legroom compared to other planes in the Premium Economy Class. Bigger seats are also offered in the Economy class to make passengers more comfortable and allow them to have less tiring air travels.

There were no non-stop flights offered from East Asia to Barcelona for a long time, and airlines provided limited flights between China and Vienna, Austria before this.

Since Air China is a member carrier of the Star Alliance, the largest airline network in the world, the official flag carrier of China had been recently expanding its routes in Europe.

At the moment, Air China provides over 100 flights between Beijing and different destinations in Europe every week, particularly in the major cities in the continent like Paris, London, Rome, Moscow, Frankfurt, as well as Madrid.

The new Beijing-Vienna-Barcelona route will increase the service of Air China to 3, providing a right of entry to a total of 19 European cities as well as expanding the European network of the Chinese airline.
