Frieza Will Return on ‘Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatso no F’


Listen up 90s kids, your favorite villain is set to comeback on the upcoming "Dragon Ball Z" 2015 movie. Frieza's return was revealed in the film's first poster published in the January 2015 issue of the Japanese magazine V Jump, Anime News Network reported.

Frieza, whose name is based in the word freezer, is arguably the series' best and most popular villain, and can surely generate viewers for the upcoming "Dragon Ball Z" movie, as GameNGuide cited. The magazine also revealed that another strong opponent of the manga's protagonists will be having his own comeback. This is Beerus from the hit Battle of God's released last year.

The report also revealed the official title for the Japanese's hit anime's upcoming 2015 movie. The film, who is expected to surpass Battle of God's hit ticket sales, is given "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F" as its title. When this is translated to English, it will be "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection" as F is for Fukkatsu which means 'resurrection'.

Akira Toriyama, creator of the worldwide hit manga series, said the "F" in the title really means Frieza who will have its comeback on the "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F" movie. The Japanese anime creator also said he has been listening to Maximum the Hormone's 'F' song which is also about the most hated but most famous villain of the anime series.

"Dragon Ball Z" 2015 movie, slated for April 18 release in Japanese theaters, will tell the story of how Sorbet and Tagoma tried to revive Frieza through the help of the dragon balls. Sorbet and Tagoma are two new characters that Toriyama created for the "Fukkatsu no F" movie.

The two new additions to the manga franchise will have their wish to bring their master Frieza back to life will be granted. As expected, returning Frieza will disturb the peaceful world by planning his revenge against the Saiyans who killed him.

Interesting enough? Worry not as "Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F" will have its 2D and 3D release during the second quarter of 2015.
