Apple is moving into virtual reality and is headed for a head-on collision with the company that started it all: Oculus Rift.

Apple posted a job listing for a virtual reality developer, one of the first indications the tech giant has turned its sights on virtual reality.

Apple described the person it's looking as an app engineer that will design next generation software experiences. The job post adds the app engineer should be able to build high performance virtual reality apps and make a prototype device for user testing.
