Wong plays a downtrodden office worker, Sit Ho Ching, in Golden Brother. He expressed his happiness with his victory, saying, "The audience could relate strongly to each and every character in the film."

"The film's social influence and value are good for the young people to learn from," he added.

Directed by Chung Shu Kai of "I Love Hong Kong" fame, the comedy tells the story of an unfortunate office worker who loses both his job and his girlfriend on the same day.

"Sit Ho Ching (the character) chose me. If I am not an actor, perhaps I would have many similar experiences with Sit Ho Ching. I have encountered the life difficulties including losing job and girlfriend and facing family difficulties at the same time. I was frustrated and downtrodden as Sit Ho Ching. The biggest connection between me and Sit Ho Ching is resonance. A man who wants to be mature must suffer hardships. Actually, Life is not that hard. It is just we want too much." Wong explained his understanding of the lead character.

The movie also co-stars a slew of TVB stars including Michael Tse, William Chan, Mimi Kung, and Stephy Tang.

The movie will be showed on December 24 in China and may become a hot topic for this Christmas.
