The clash happened right on The View Thursday after O'Donnell, co-host Rosie Perez, and Orange Is the New Black star Laverne Cox concluded that it's racist act when Black Americans are profiled in stores.

However, Goldberg opposed the three's idea, explaining that such instances are not really racist, rather, just a product of somebody else's ignorance.

"You need to know what real racism is," she told the panel.

"Racism is when someone comes up to you and says, 'I hope you f---king die. That's racism."

She then when on to say that there are just a lot of stupid, dumb people because they don't pay attention to who they're talking to.

"I've been black for 60 years," the Academy Award winning actress said.

"For me, stupidity, there are dumb folks who just say dumb stuff because they're not looking or paying attention to the person they're talking to which is why people could walk up to Obama and not look up at him and see that it's the president."

Perez then rebutted Goldberg's statement, telling the host that conscious racism is apparent.

"When my sister Carmen and I were in San Antonio-we were in an exclusive hotel, we're in exclusive VIP lounge, there are millions of people, right? We walk in and they asked my sister Carmen to clean the table," the Puerto Rican actress remembered.

O'Donnell also shared the same idea but Goldberg wouldn't take any of it.

When Goldberg asked Perez if the latter believed the incident was really an example of racism, O'Donnell has gone expletive and yelled: "I'm a gay American who's been called an...," O'Donnell said, telling Goldberg matter-of-factly that she understands what racism is.

"I have a black kid I raised, Whoopi! I have a kid in my house!," she said.

Goldberg then responded that situations like that are not the same.

"You don't need to be black to know what racism is!," O'Donnell told Goldberg.

"Yes you do," Goldberg responded.
