Have Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin leveled up their friendship?

E! News can reveal that there must be something special between the two, aside from being great pals.

Rumors are in that the 20-year-old pop singer and 18-year-old model and daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin are dating, contrary to what they said that they're just friends.

The two were spotted Friday, just after Christmas Day, spending dinner together at Mr. Chow, a Chinese restaurant in New York. Bieber was seen all smiles while covering his face with what seemed like a plate.

The two met together at Bieber's home and were chauffeured on their way to the restaurant, E! News found out. They looked every inch a couple, a source revealed, adding that Hailey even gave Bieber a gift.

They spent more than an hour for dinner then went straight to a movie house, where they watched the crime thriller The Gambler, starring Mark Wahlberg.

They then proceeded to Bieber's home. The following morning, they spent breakfast at a New Jersey diner.

That same afternoon, Hailey clarified on her Twitter that she did not spend the night with Bieber.

"Glad I got such a good night sleep last night, at MY own home, alone," she tweeted.

Bieber and Baldwin have earlier pointed out that nothing but friendship is between them, although they have been spotted together on various incidents a weeks ago, including having lunch together in Beverly Hills, shopping at Target, watching a Los Angeles Clippers game together, and having fun while playing arcade games together.

In November, Bieber was one of Baldwin's guests during her birthday party.

In an interview with E! News early this December, the model explained that she and the pop prince have been friends since she was 13.

"We've just been good friends over the years and we have just stayed close and there's nothing more to it than that," she said.

Bieber announced Dec. 15 that he is definitely "super single," calling Hailey a "good friend."

Bieber was previously in a relationship with longtime on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez, who had ealier confessed in an interview with Norwegian radio station that she is still single and that Bieber still has a special spot in her heart.
