Slammed with side-by-side sexual assault claims, embattled comedian Bill Cosby is now facing mounting criticism over his upcoming tours in three Ontario cities by January.

Many have already called on Ontario owners to shut Cosby's tours even before they open.

Film director Judd Apatow was not amused of Canadian theater owners' decision not to cancel Cosby's show.

"Is Cosby only popular in Ontario Canada at this point?" he tweeted.

"Are you really going to let Bill Cosby perform on your stage January 7?" Apatow sent out a tweet directed to Centre in the Square.

"You too Bud Gardens? Is Cosby only popular in Ontario, Canada, at this point? Do people still find him delightful after 30 accusers?" he also tweeted.

Cosby is slated to for a performance at Centre in the Square on Jan. 7. On Jan. 8, he is booked for the Budweiser Gardens on Jan. 8., while Hamilton's Place Theatre has slated his show on Jan. 9.

Many U.S. venues have already decided against the actor's show at the onset of the sexual assault scandal that saw about two dozen women come out to accuse the comedian.

The main reason why Ontario theaters are making a gamble on Cosby is the fact that whether or not he performs, they will still have to pay him, or else they would face breach of contract. So, if the venue decides to cancel the show, it would have to pay Cosby the guaranteed fee as stipulated in the contract. They would have to pay the promoter for the cost of the box office and other show expenses.
