The U.S. National Security Agency posted an internship advertisement eight years ago.

The NSA recruitment project called Politerain looked for potential candidates with the ability to hack and crack their way into computer networks. They would also be asked to remotely obliterate online data servers by inserting special software or viruses.

The United States and its four allies, Canada, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand, then formed the Five Eyes Alliance. This group wants to completely monitor the Internet and develop cyber weapons against its enemies.

Based on the documents leaked by Edward Snowden, the NSA plans to use the Internet to disrupt and take control of vital industries and the infrastructure of a possible enemy country.

While other weapons such nuclear, biological and chemical have international protocols, there are no such protocols for cyber weapons.

The four branches of the United States military maintain their own digital force with the NSA in overall command.

Completely monitoring the Internet is simply the first step in cyber warfare. The next step involves secretly placing programs that can hack into computer networks and servers. Once these stealth programs are in place, the United States and her allies will have the ability to not only control, but destroy, a rival country's infrastructure without firing a single shot.

A number of malware or virus programs have been pinpointed as the handiwork of the United States and allies. Stuxnet is a program developed to attack the Iranian nuclear weapons project. Germans were outraged when a USB device belonging to one of Chancellor Angela Merkel's staff was infected by a spyware Trojan called Regin.
