Bruce Jenner has publicly come out and has been open about wanting to transition into a woman, but his ex-wife, Kris Jenner is reportedly struggling to accept the Olympian's decision.

A source close to the Kardashian family told People, "It's really a hard adjustment for her. Kris had the most difficult time in the family. She's looking back at their entire marriage, and a lot of things are suddenly making sense. She's had a lot to process."

When Kris first learned about Bruce's decision to transition, she was said to be "shocked."

Bruce and Kris Jenner have been married for 23 years before deciding to separate last June 2013. Their divorce was finalized in December 2014.

Bruce's family have been very supportive of him, both his biological and stepchildren, as well as his mother.  The source said, "Bruce told them everything-where things stood and what his plans were for the future, what everyone could expect. The kids came around pretty quickly, but each of them had to process it in their own way. They are trying to show him love and acceptance. All they want is for him to be happy."

When the announcement was made, Kim Kardashian's husband, Kanye West "is totally fine with it," claimed the source. "He believes in 'live and let live,' and he took it all in stride." However, some members of the family needed some time to process Bruce's revelation. Kourtney Kardashian and baby daddy, Scott Disick reportedly asked for some time to think it through, but have since become extremely supportive.

As for Kim, she at first checked with his mother to see how she was doing. The source said, "Once [Kim] was satisfied that Kris was emotionally okay, she was able to give Bruce her unconditional support."

Kim, together with her sisters, Khloe, Kourtney and half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie, posted a photo with their father on Instagram and captioned it, "Family First."

Bruce's life changes will be documented in his own E! docuseries which will air in May.
