Due to coalition air strikes led by the United States in September, the military capabilities of The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) took a huge hit. General Mansour Al-Jbour, head of the Royal Jordanian Air Force, stated that at least 20 percent of its capabilities.

Al-Jbour released the statement in a press conference last Sunday. He also added that Jordan has been working closely with the United States, carrying out as much as 20 percent of the total attacks conducted on ISIS to date.

While the attacks were numerous, he stressed that they were careful not to hit any civilians during the process. These attacks have decreased the military forces of the ISIS soldiers.

Al-Jbour also said that they are determined to wipe this force off the face of the Earth, killing as much as 7,000 members of ISIS so far.

The fleet of jet fighters from Jordan also carried out as much as 56 raids in only three days. Their mission was to bomb a stronghold located in the Northeast of Syria. With the bombings, they destroyed logistics centers, arms depos, and even hideouts.

After the press conference on Sunday, no further news of any additional strikes against the militants was confirmed. However, if Jordan's King Abdullah's word is to be taken at every syllable, then people can expect that the attacks on ISIS by the Jordan jet fighters will not stop any time soon.

King Abdullah has vowed to avenge one of Jordan's pilots, Muath al-Kassasbeh, who was burned alive and executed by ISIS.

Since the grisly video of al-Kassasbeh's killing was released, King Abdullah has ordered his commanders to prepare for an increased military actions against ISIS. The military roles they are taking up will be part of the U.S.-led coalition against ISIS.

However, the people from Jordan are not as enthusiastic of the attacks. They fear that the attacks could trigger backlash from the ISIS militants.
