EXO-L Does Charity Work in Support for Korea's History Museum of Japanese Military Comfort Women

EXO-L, the fan club of South Korean-Chinese boy band EXO, is starting a donation campaign to support the History Museum of Japanese Military Comfort Women as a celebration for the ten-member band's third anniversary in the industry.

EXO's fans have always been snatching the spotlight, usually due to criticisms, but this time, the fan club has attracted the attention of the media after announcements were made that they will be supporting Korea's History Museum of Japanese Military Comfort Women.

According to media reports, EXO-L has received much praise for their decision to change the culture of the fan club for charitable causes. According to media reports, actively supporting charity organizations as well as spreading awareness about certain social issues are trending among K-Pop 'fandoms'.

EXO- L has decided to be the forefront supporters of the museum after discovering the struggles that the institution is going through. Media reports say that the History Museum of Japanese Military Comfort Women lacks in funding and is only able to continue with its service through citizen donations and assistance from the city of Busan.

The members of the fan club can easily gain access to the charitable activities planned by the organizers through an application called 'Fan Maum' which literally translates to 'fan hearts'. The application helps raise 'hearts' which translates to money in the form of donations.

Sources state that the campaign to raise 'maum' or 'hearts' for the cause will continue until April 3 and all proceeds will be given to the museum.

On the one hand, other supporters of the museums have expressed their gladness and thanks to the members of EXO-L for their good deed. According to them, they are thankful to see the fans of an influential idol group participating in such activities.

EXO-L members also expressed that they wanted to do charity work under the band's name, and at the same time, spread EXO's popularity.
