Adopting a Child and Posing as a Gay Couple is the Season Ender for Two and a Half Men

For all the Ashton Kutcher fans out there, please do not be disappointed. Kutcher is very straight in real life but the character he plays in Two and a Half Men changes with a plot twist.

The President of CBS, Nina Tassler, has confirmed the plot of the season finale of Two and a Half Men. Walden Schmidt played by Ashton Kutcher and Alan Harper played by Jon Cryer will be adopting a child due to Walden's existential crisis.

Let us back track a little bit. Kutcher replaced Charlie Sheen in the show and lots of fans were throwing in mixed opinions about the show's decision. However, the show still went on and Kutcher has been accepted eventually by the fans of the show.

Fast forwarding now to the current episode, Walden Schmidt is proposing to Alan Harper since he wants to figure out ways in order to add more meaning to his existence. He decides he wants to adopt a child but later then realized that adopting a child as a single, straight man will not go as smoothly as he has planned.

The LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual) community might have a say on this but Tassler did say that she is not concerned about this as of the moment.

Alan Harper and Walden Schmidt will get married and will be a gay couple in order for Schmidt to make his plans put into action. Well, Harper, Charlie Sheen's brother in the show, has been living in Schmidt's house which was originally owned by Sheen, won't be able to refuse the offer. With all the issue about Harper freeloading in Schmidt's house, this is an offer he can't turn down.

Tessler justifies that this is a positive statement that the show aims to achieve. This does not only to depict the issues faced by same-sex couples but will also help in making people understand and finally accept gay and lesbian couples.

The season finale of Two and a Half Men airs on October 30 this year.
