'Breaking Bad,' 'True Detective' and 'Veep' Fetch Trophies at TCA Awards

"Breaking Bad" once again claimed the award for Program of the Year at the 30th Television Critics Association Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday.

Among the night's winners were "The Good Wife" for Best Drama of the Year, "Orange is the New Black" for Outstanding New Program, "True Detective" for Outstanding Achievement in Movies, Miniseries and Specials while "Veep" and "Louie" tied in the award for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.

"Brooklyn Nine-nine" star Terry Crews hosted this year's awards, which honored the past presidents, former hosts and career achievers in the group's biannual industry conference.

"Breakind Bad," despite winning big, won only one award while the rest were given to other nine series. The best drama series prize was given to "The Good Wife", beating nominees "Breaking Bad," "Orphan Black," "True Detective" and "The Americans."

"True Detective" hit two prizes for best movie/miniseries/specials and Matthew McConaughey's Individual Achievement in Drama. The series packed eight episodes co-starring Woody Harrelson which aired on HBO until March 9, 2014 for season one.

"Veep" also swept two trophies for best comedy series, tied with "Louie," and Individual Achievement in Comedy for Julia Louis-Dreyfus who starred the series all throughout three seasons.

The American comedy-drama series "Orange is the New Black" was awarded with Outstanding New Program Award since its first release in Netflix on July 21, 2013.

The votes for TCA awards were cast by the members of the organization who were allowed to pick two nominees for a category at the nomination stage and one for the final.

RuPaul's "Drag Race" - Individual Achievement in Drama

"The Fosters" - Individual Achievement in Drama

James Burrows - Career Achievement Award

"Saturday Night Live" - Heritage Award
