Several companies have taken the model of a developer's conference highlighting the new features of platforms, but none do it quite as well as Apple. It has announced this year's Worldwide Developer Conference will take place from June 8 to June 12.

The four day conference will take place at the Moscone Center where Apple holds almost all events. It will focus on iOS, Mac OS X and may show new updates coming to the Apple Watch platform.

Last year, Apple announced iOS 8 and Mac OS X Yosemite. Both featured several systems to allow users to move from Mac to iPhone without having to save and store documents through a system called Continuity.

There were a lot of updates to both platforms. The bigger updates came later in the year with the launch of the Apple Watch, 12-inch MacBook and iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

This year, we expect iOS 9 and the next version of OS X will be side notes in a big services launch. Rumor has it Apple will launch its internet TV service at WWDC 2015, alongside the relaunched Beats Music service.

iOS 9 will consist primarily of bug fixes, performance updates and clarity. Apple dropped the ball when it came to security and has been bested in the performance arena against Android as well. It needs to regain footing in both areas.

We have nothing on the next version of OS X other than the fact Apple intends to push Force Touch into the mainstream. Hopefully, there is more meat to the update than just that, considering the performance of the Mac range these past few years.

The internet TV service is the most important, given the launch of HBO Now, Sling TV and PlayStation Vue. It's clear the internet will not be a place just for cat videos and shoddy cable dramas from two years ago, but for almost every single cable channel and huge multi-million dollar original series.

Apple's move into the TV ring needs to be large. It needs to win over millions if rumors of this al-a-carte system are true. Disney is becoming restless and NBC Universal is already out of the conversation. If it doesn't woo the millions watching, it might crash and burn before it launches.

Beats Music is more of a sure deal considering the brand recognition between Beats and Apple. If rumors of exclusive contracts are true, it might be even easier for Apple to win over customers to the subscription service.

We still don't know if Apple has any tricks up its sleeve. It's been rather bland when it comes to services in the past few years, the only two of note being Apple Pay and TouchID.
