Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse is in the talks to appear in the eighth installment of Fast and the Furious 8, along with other Asian actors such as Andy On, Vincent Zhao and Wu Jing,

In a Beijing Press Conference last month, Vin Diesel gave a clue to the audience that there is a huge possibility that the next franchise will be filmed in Hong Kong. The actor also expressed interest that the next movie will appeal more to the Chinese market, Asian Pop News reports.

This plan may have a bigger chance of pushing through since the franchise already ventured into the Japanese audience last 2006, in the "Tokyo Drift" movie.

The Chinese press also revealed that the upcoming eighth installment, which will be released in 2017, will feature many of Asia's biggest stars.

Though there is already speculation among the Chinese fans who will make the final cut, this will eventually be announced as the production team and promotions for the eighth movie will slowly assemble.

Tse is a good candidate for the movie since he can fit in the role as part of Dominic Toretto's team. His acting resume is already filled with the roles he portrayed in various crime films.

Tse initially started in the entertainment industry as a singer but ventured more into acting when he received his martial arts training from Philip Ng.

Tse starred in his first action film, "Young and Dangerous" and was cast in the Benny Chan directed film "Gen X Cops" almost fifteen years ago. The said movie was a hug success and grossed up to HK$15 million.

Tse played a lead role in the renowned film "Time And Tide" and this cemented the actor's image of being an action star.

The most recent installment, Fast and Furious 7, grossed more than CNY2 billion since its release and became the top grossing film in China.
