Margot Robbie seems like the perfect choice to portray the psychiatrist-turned-psycho-villain Harely Quinn in the newly released on-set photos of the highly anticipated villain movie "Suicide Squad" as collected by GeekTyrant.

Amid the rubble and uniformed military men,"The Wolf of Wallstreet" star can be seen brandishing a bat while wearing a two-tone varsity jacket and shorts and sporting pigtails that are dyed pink and blue, which fans will see as a nod to the New 52 version.

The other members of Task Force X were also pictured, including Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, and Will Smith as Deadshot, wearing a red undershirt.

Rick Flagg was supposed to be played by Tom Hardy, who unfortunately backed out at the last minute because of scheduling conflicts with his latest project alongside Academy Award-winning director Alejandro Inarritu.

There were mixed reactions when the first photo of the cast was revealed, especially with the costumes, but fans are slowly warming up to it. The animator of the hugely popular "Batman: The Animated Series" back in the 90's and co-creator of Harley's character, Bruce Timm, was amused. In an interview with io9, he said that the character looked cool, and he was very optimistic about the project. He also said that he loved the way that DC maintained her chaotic but bubbly personality, never gravitating to that typical angsty character of most DC heroes.

Perhaps it was the Leto Joker that instilled a shared stigma on the other "Suicide Squad" cast members, but as far as the stills and photos are concerned, so far, so good. Hopefully as production continues, fans will warm up not only to the costumes but to the characters as well.

August 5, 2016, marks the release date of this David Ayer-helmed movie, and hopefully it follows up to its hype.
