Jimmy Kimmel took the stage at the ABC Upfronts on Tuesday and delivered a monologue that poked fun at Bruce Jenner, who recently admitted to being a transgender.

Discussing ABC's new programming slate, the 47-year old comedian said that the network "has people of color, women" and added, "and men turning into women."

Bringing up the new format of the romantic reality series, "The Bachelorette," in which two women, Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe will battle it out for the chance to find true love with one of the 25 suitors, Jimmy Kimmel suggested that they forget having more Bachelorettes.

"We need more Bruce Jenners at this network!" Jimmy Kimmel joked during the ABC Upfronts episode.

Jimmy Kimmel then continued to describe Bruce Jenner's interview with Diane Sawyer, as "unbelievable" and revealed that it was a huge hit for the network who had 17 million viewers tuning in to watch his big reveal.

This is why, Jimmy Kimmel said, that they promise to bring someone to the ABC Upfronts every week that will change genders, which incited laughs throughout the crowd.

At the ABC Upfronts, the funny man then referenced the 2012 short-lived sitcom, "Work It," which focused on the story of two men pretending to be women so they can keep their jobs. Though the two main characters of the show do not have gender dysphoria, Jimmy Kimmel remarked that it should have been their first clue.

The ABC Upfronts incident is not the first time that a celebrity has taken aim at Jenner's transition. Back in March, Jamie Foxx hosted the 2014 iHeartRadio Music Awards and joked that the former "World's Greatest Athlete" can do a "his and her duet all by himself."

One of Jenner's stepdaughters, Khloé Kardashian, did not take the joke lightly and said that it was "mean" and a "low blow," before adding that it's what Foxx might have felt he needed to do to gain some media attention.

It remains to be seen whether ABC Upfronts will indeed deliver on what Jimmy Kimmel jokingly promised for the show.
