The American boxer Floyd Mayweather has disclosed that he has no plans to offer Manny Pacquiao a rematch after their May 2 fight in MGM Grand Las Vegas.

According to ABS CBN News, in Shade 45 Radio, the undefeated American fighter said that there will be no rematch that will happen against Pacquiao; however, Mayweather said that may have considered a rematch if only the Filipino fighter "had been more straightforward" in accepting that he failed to win the fight.

"If he would've been honest and said, 'You know what, Floyd was the better man. I lost' I told you guys many years ago, there is going to be excuses," he said.

It has been previously reported that Mayweather has offered Pacquiao a rematch but he withdraw it and call the Filipino boxer as a coward and sore loser. He also stated that if Pacquiao won the fight, then the injury in the shoulder of Pacman will not create an issue and added that people should not be mad at him, as he had done what he had to do.

Mayweather stated that if people want to be upset, they should be upset with the guy "who couldn't set the traps for Floyd Mayweather" and to the person who throw 1,000 punches but resorted to throw 400 punches.

Moreover, Pacquiao has responded to the unbeaten WBO/WBA/WBC welterweight champion statement calling him as a coward and sore loser for making excuses.

The Boxing Scene reported that Pacquiao only wanted to inform his fans and the public about his injury in the shoulder and he does not use it as an excuse. He added that he has been treated unfairly in the "playing field," where Mayweather is in control of everything - outside and inside of the ring.

Pacquiao stated that he respects the decision of the judges and accept that he did not win the fight against Mayweather. For now, the Filipino fighter wants to recover from his injury and will focus first on his job as a lawmaker.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao said that he is thinking about a rematch, yet fans of both sides will still have to wait if the "Fight of the Century" will happen again.
