In four months, China has cut its carbon dioxide emissions. The CO2 emission reduction of China has become a progress, with the reduction of the amount which is equal to the total CO2 emission of the U.K. this 2015.

The analysis of Greenpeace Energydesk on China's CO2 emission said that China's coal consumption has reduced by 8 percent, according to The Independent. Moreover, the analysis said that China's emissions has dropped by 5 percent from January to April of this year. It is said that China's large amount of emission reduction can be caused by its reduction in coal consumption, which according to The Independent report, dropped last year for the first time in the century.

Reports about China's CO2 emission reduction came out just before the beginning of this year's Paris Summit of United Nations, discussion global partnership to address climate change issues. This is a huge progress since it can be noted that China had been opposing agreements with regard to the issue of climate change, The Independent reported.

It can be noted that in the year 2007, China had overtaken the United States as the world's largest emitter of greenhouse gasses.

According to the data of Greenpeace Energydesk, China's reduction in CO2 emission from the year 2014 to 2015 is closely equal to the U.K's total emissions in the first 4 months of this year while China's reduction in coal consumption and use is equal to U.K's four times total consumption, the analysis reported.

The progress of reducing emissions on CO2 for the first 4 months of this year is a jaw-dropping, since China had been the biggest emitter of greenhouse gasses.

One of the talks the United Nations Paris Summit this year is the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions to limit the increase in global temperature and to address the issue of climate change. It is said that China's reduction on CO2 emission has been a huge progress than the early years of the century.
