Singer-actor Seo In Guk and Girls' Generation Sunny recently hit the headlines when reports surfaced that they were dating. Both their agencies were quick to deny that In Guk, 27, and Sunny, 26, are seeing each other. Now on her birthday, Sunny, whose real name is Lee Soon-kyu, has stated that there is no truth to the dating rumor.

Sunny celebrated her birthday on May 15 and on the day, during the broadcast of "Sunny's FM Date," she said that she and "The King's Face" actor share a sunbae (senior) and hoobae (junior) relationship.

"Don't hate me. I noticed I had a dating scandal today. It was so absurd. This is Sunny's first dating scandal of her life. It came out on my birthday. I'm letting the sunbaes and hoobaes close to me know once again," she said, as quoted by All K Pop.

Citing an unnamed source close to both the stars, Sports Seoul was the first to report that In Guk and Sunny are dating each other. It was reported that another Girls' Generation member Yuri introduced the two during the filming of the movie "No Breathing" in 2013 and the two were in contact since then. When In Guk was reportedly admitted to the hospital due to health issues, Sunny regularly visited him, according to the report.

Sunny's agency S.M. Entertainment said in its statement that the dating rumors are "groundless" and "not true." In Guk's rep. also denied the relationship.

Meanwhile, Girls Generation's Yuri and Choi Kang Hee are set to host a travel show, Soompi reported. This variety show, scheduled to air sometime in late June, is called "MAPS." The two members of Girls' Generation are set to begin filming the show soon in Jeju Island. According to Soompi, Kang Hee and Yuri will be staying there for three nights and four days and are expected to explore scenic destination.
