(Photo : Reuters) Addressing the user concern of remembering different passwords for different apps, Google has announced the Project Vault that will help devices recognize users on the basis of the usage patterns.

In what can be considered as the next big thing in the smartphone category, search engine giant Google is working with Qualcomm to create a new smartphone with multiple cameras in one device.

According to Engadget, Google has partnered with Qualcomm to work on a new smartphone design. The ambitious project is being called Tango and will focus on creating a unique smartphone design that incorporates multiple cameras in one reference chip. The report also goes on to elaborate that while people may not get to see a consumer ready Tango phone in the near future, work on the ambitious project is aggressively underway. Currently, the concept is being seeded across developers and smartphone device makers. Additionally, Google's partnership with the world's biggest chip maker Qualcomm also reiterates its ambition to successfully complete the project.

Android Headlines explains that the project combines sophisticated cameras with some clever software, which is an excellent piece of programming, that is powered by a high capacity processor. Currently, the exclusive piece of technology is available only for developers. The Tango tablet uses an Nvidia Tegra K1 32-bit processor, equipped with 8GB RAM plus an additional 128 GB of local storage to accommodate the extra data. As of now, the device, which works on a dual cell battery, has a 7-inch display screen that comes with a resolution of 1900x1200. This tablet has three cameras integrated in its set-up, which includes a wide angle front facing unit, a rear mounted infrared camera and a wide angle motion tracking camera.

Some time ago, they had also released the Tango smartphones, though in very small numbers. At the Google I/O developer conference this year, Google confirmed its partnership with Qualcomm and its work on the ambitious project; however, in early 2015, Google had announced that it will be working with LG to complete the Project Tango.

This announcement clearly proves that the partnership with LG did not lead to any major developments.
