This report further stated that using the Android OS can help gaming company Nintendo to expand their games on platforms like smartphones, tablet and other devices. These rumors were, however, put to rest when a spokesperson from Nintendo rubbished them off as merely false talks. The Nintendo spokesperson told this directly to The Wall Street Journal.

Nintendo officially announced that they are not planning to adopt Android for their NX gaming platform, as per detailed reports by Dual Shockers. But considering the track record of the company, this could be their way to shoot off all the rumors regarding their future plans until they are ready with the entire development and end product.

There is still a chance that Nintendo might use the Android operating system in their next gaming platform release, according to Polygon. Nintendo is doing every thing within its power to keep details about its upcoming gaming console under wraps so that it shakes the gaming world at its launch with its immense technological power.

The exact Operating System that Nintendo is using for NX gaming console is not known at all. Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata stated that the company will not take part into any discussions regarding the NX until 2016, as the platform is still in the early stages of development.

It was also speculated that Nintendo may share a few details about the upcoming gaming console at E3, which will be held from June 16-18, 2015.

It is a well-known fact that the Japanese business daily Nikkei reports unconfirmed and incorrect news while Nintendo generally denies every news regarding the company, despite of it being true eventually. This report can reportedly cause major confusion amongst the gamers who are eagerly waiting for the next release from Nintendo.
