Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback candidate Tim Tebow is reportedly looking good during their recent organized team activities and says that he hopes head coach Chip Kelly would revive his stalled football career, according to Oregon Live.

Tebow accepted a one-year deal with the Eagles last April and had been fighting for a spot on the team the whole offseason, particularly with his fellow signal caller Matt Barkley.

While there were contrasting reports about the current status of the former Denver miracle man with regards to his chances of inclusion, the quarterback himself believed that the eccentric coach would give him a specific job where he can be effective in using his unique skill set.

The 6-foot-3, 245-pound former Florida standout also expressed his fondness of Kelly's playbook, saying that he fancied the 51-year-old coach's ideas and innovations.

Meanwhile, Kelly is as enthusiastic as Tebow when talking about his running quarterback's current progress. He told Fox Sports that the 27-year-old showed a lot of improvement with his throws in training and that he expects to see more in the coming team minicamp on June 16 to 18.

Ironically, Tebow was never known for his passes as much as his running game. But the adamant coach is insistent on developing not only his passing game, but the basic mechanics of how to be a great play maker.

With those comments, it is quite clear that both quarterback and coach are on the same page, which only means good news for the team and its fans.

NJ Advance Media backed up Kelly claims as it reported the improved throwing motion of the left-handed player during the team OTAs. His arm strength had always been unquestionable, but his accuracy had increased by a lot since his last tryout with the New England Patriots in 2013.

Tebow admitted that he had spent a lot of time working out his passes during the long layoff from professional competition.

Recent speculations arise that Kelly wants Tebow to become the backup of the coming season's starting QB Mark Sanchez. The decision was allegedly based on the current condition of supposed-to-be starter Sam Bradford, who is still not 100 percent recovered from his left ACL injury, and the mediocre performance of Barkley during practices.
