Samsung has yet to reveal a new innovation that guarantees a secure driving alertness on the road. The "transparent truck" innovation is not literally transparent, but a rather state of the art camera-streaming relationship put into one.

According to News.Com, the live streaming that is visible at the back of a large container truck is being fed by a front facing camera that captures everything in front of the truck. Cars behind the big truck will then use the streaming to determine the condition of the road ahead, whether it is safe to overtake or see the safety of the road ahead.

With a built in wireless camera at the front of the truck and a 4 rear outdoor monitors at the back, cars following will have a clear view of the road ahead. The clear camera capture is also useful during the night where it is most needed because of its night vision feature. In a blog post by Samsung, it stated that "This allows drivers to have a better view when deciding whether it is safe to overtake. Another advantage of the Safety truck is that it may reduce the risk of accidents caused by sudden braking or animals crossing on the road."

While Samsung's prototype trucks aren't operational now, the giant tech company is reportedly working on getting their permission to operate, as well as the necessary requirement to get the innovation on the road. Samsung's next step includes performing tests on the road and collaborating with the local government to have the service working and be taken advantage by the public.

Basing their statistics on Argentina's accident records that mostly happen on their one lane roads, Samsung was quick to develop this state of the art inventions that will not only help drivers reach their destinations safely, but also a faster travel time accompanied by safe road information.

While the invention is still in the works, according to reports, it is no doubt that its capability to promote safe driving is very much part of the invention's main purpose. All Samsung needs right now is the help of the authorities to putt the innovation on the road, said reports.
