Carrying forth its legacy to innovate, China is most likely to be ready with at least two prototypes of the technology driven superfast helicopters in the next ten years. In 2013, at the Second China Helicopter Expo, many such state of the art models were displayed.

According to China Daily, China is working on developing the new models of the ultra-fast helicopter and should be able to present at least two prototypes to the world by 2025, confirmed be Wu Ximing, chief helicopter designer at Aviation Industry Corp of China. He said that they expect to see a model in the next four to five years and will look at conducting test flights after that. Aviation Industry Corp Of China had showcased several such awe-inspiring models at the Helicopter Expo held in the country in 2013. These exhibits also included  Blue Whale tilt rotor aircraft and the unmanned Jueying-8 helicopter. Currently, both these concepts are being developed by the company's Helicopter Research and Development Institute. While the Blue Whale's specialization is its superfast speed of 700 kilometer per hour, the Jueying-8 will be one of its kind unmanned machine. As for the speed, these helicopters will be able to do almost double their predecessors. The Jueying-8 is supposed to have a shuttle shaped design.

Additionally, the unique design of these helicopters will make them difficult to detect even on the radar. with these new helicopters, China will make a significant contribution to the domain of counter terrorism, search, rescue and research.

Another report on Asia One quoted Wu Peixin, an editor at Aerospace Knowledge magazine, saying that these helicopters clearly prove that China has the potential and the ability to develop innovative products.

Such helicopters will be extremely helpful in the military as well. For instance, the high speed helicopter will be helpful to evade anti-aircraft weapons.
