A radio host from Miami took his dismay on LeBron James one step higher making a special billboard for the former Miami Heat star.

Gonzalo "Papi" Le Batard, sports radio host of "The Dan Le Batard Show," created a billboard ad in Akron, Ohio, with pictures of Miami Heat's 2012 and 2013 championships with a note above that says, "You're welcome, LeBron."

Adding more sarcasm in the message, the billboard was signed with, "Love, Miami."

Many locals spotted the billboard on Wednesday.

Le Batard even tried to have the ad printed in the papers but the editors of Ohio newspapers refused to run it, according to reports.

A representative for the radio show confirmed to TIME that Le Batard was the "mastermind" of the billboard ad. However, the publication declined to give further comments though Le Batard and his son have repeatedly joked about the ad on air.

"We're telling him, 'you're welcome,' because he hasn't said thank you to Miami," said Le Batard on his recent show.

The radio host added that the billboard was just a simple "publicity stunt" that should not be taken seriously.

James was a four-time NBA MVP. He originally signed with Cleveland Cavaliers, but he left the Cavs for Heat in 2010. James recently opted out of his contract and became a free agent for a couple of weeks before announcing that he is coming back to his "home" with the Cavaliers.

James wrote an essay in Sports Illustrated explaining his decision to leave Miami.

"I'm doing this essay because I want an opportunity to explain myself uninterrupted," said James.

The basketballs star explained that he felt that his calling is more than just becoming an NBA champion. He aims to be a leader. He also said that he always believed he would return to the Cavs, he just didn't know when.

James' one-year contract is worth US$42 million.
