"Elder Scrolls 6," the new game by Bethesda, is not expected to reach gamers anytime soon. The developers have confirmed that they are currently busy with the "Fallout 4" and updating the online version of "Elder Scrolls 6." The makers have preferred to stick to their policy of one game at a time.

Does this spell the end of the road for the long running fantasy game, or will something better come up some time soon?

According to Metro, Bethesda has made a clear announcement telling gamers not to expect the announcement of the next version of the "Elder Scrolls 6" in the near future. The company has said that it does not want to disappoint gamers as the current area of focus is only on "Fallout 4," which is soon nearing completion. Post this, the game makers will focus on "The Elder Scrolls Online." Since the policy is to focus on one game at a time, they are not going to diversify the team into working on "Elder Scrolls 6."

Another reason that prohibits the company from diversifying their focus is the lack of staff strength. The company is still just a hundred member team and so working on multiple project continues to remain a major challenge. Given the current situation, analysts are also speculating that the developers might just outsource the last version of "Fallout 4 DLC." This means that if the "Fallout 4 DLC" is expected at the end of this year, the new version of "Elder Scrolls" will not be possible until 2018.

Even the "Elder Scrolls Online" is a massively multiplayer game which will require more effort on part of the developers. In fact, the makers have decided to focus on the "Elder Scrolls 6" as a single player game for quite some time. In a report on Gamerant that quotes Pete Hines, associated with the Bethesda games, he also confirmed that the plans to introduce new version of the "Elder Scrolls 6" are nowhere in the pipeline.

As per the current status, gamers are expecting the new version of the "Fallout 4 DLC"  to come out on PC, Xbox One and PS4 by November 10.
