Recent rumors and spoilers about "Captain America: Civil War" have alleged revelations about the cast and even their respective allegiances (Team Cap or Team Iron Man).

However, Marvel seems to always have a trick up their sleeve, and this time, it might be the appearance of the Hulk.

The last scene of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" seems to rule out an appearance by the green giant but as shown in previous movies, Marvel can always find a way to bring him back.

There were rumors that the next appearance of the Hulk will be in the next "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" since he was possibly spacebound. However, the speculation centered on the budding relationship between Black Widow and Bruce Banner and how the latter has a more compelling reason to return.

While that may not be concrete evidence of Bruce Banner's appearance, an interview with Mark Ruffalo may be the clincher.

"If Robert Downey, Jr. says I'm in 'Captain America,' I'm in 'Captain America' dammit," Ruffalo told Hitfix, with a chuckle. "And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up at my doorstep or my script. At this point, I'm told that I'm in it by Robert, which I'll take as biblical, but I just haven't heard or seen from production yet."

The comment was presumed to be made in jest, but Marvel has always tried to mislead the media in hopes to keep details of their movies in secret. Paul Rudd actually denied being in talks for "Ant Man" but we just saw his movie.

More evidence sprung up as Ruffalo has been spotted in Germany by a local publication, as reported by NY Daily News.

One last reference could be the appearance of Hulk's tormentor, General Ross. He is the father of Banner's romantic interest, Betty Ross. It's difficult to envision one without the other, although he was engaged with Captain America on the trailer, as IGN revealed in their trailer breakdown: "We then see General Ross (William Hurt, reprising his role from Edward Norton's Incredible Hulk) telling Cap how the country owes him an impossible debt, but that for some he's not a hero now but a vigilante."

Will all the pieces fit to a Hulk appearance in "Civil War?"
